Aaron Imbach.
Triathlon. Victoria, Australia.
The biggest thing M0VE changed for me was knowing how much to eat and when. It pulled me out of the lighter-is-faster mindset. Being a bit heavier but better fuelled has been way better.
Aaron Imbach, M0VE athlete

Palmarès.
4:53. 34th AG. Worlds qualifier.
First 70.3.
First crack at the middle distance. Finished 34th in age group out of 200+ and earned a World Championship slot through rolldown.
1:29 debut.
First time at the distance.
Picked up running after fifteen years of football and clocked 1:29 in his first ever half marathon.
Top 10 nationally.
Cars and karts.
Podium finishes and a national top-10 outside of triathlon. The same fuelling rules apply on track as they do on the run.
Aaron on fuelling.
Make carbs your best friend.
Before, during and after training.
Carbs aren't the enemy. They're the fuel. Treat them as the default at every session, not the thing you cut when you're trying to get lean.
Eat enough calories.
Your body needs it.
Lighter is not always faster. A bit heavier and properly fuelled has been a bigger performance lever than under-eating ever was.
Stay on top of hydration.
It matters more than you think.
Hydration goes wrong faster than carbs do. Know your sweat rate. Drink to your number, not to thirst.
Looking back at Geelong.
"Through M0VE's Sweat Test I worked out I was always under my fluid and sodium target per hour. Pushing both up was the single biggest change I made going into Geelong, and it showed."
Behind the scenes.
Aaron trains with coaches Joan Gomila and Jordi Salvado, and is supported by Precision Fuel and Hydration and Girona Racing Academy.
